Recently, I purchased a lipstick from a Twitter sale via DressJunkie. You can follow her here for future sales :D
Right. So onto the hairdryer. Remember this super old hairdryer that my mother was left with??

I am now back home in Guildford for the holidays, but its super cold outside and there is snow and ice everywhere! As I am coming down with some weird throat thing, I think I'll only be stepping out the house occasionally.
Being back home means I can have baths! Baths have never really been my thing, since I used to bath when I was little but I had very sensitive skin and the bubble bath potions you could buy would irritate me and so I had to just have water baths. That's why showers are much favoured by me now. Besides showers generally use less water, are quicker and much easier to wash your hair as you can rinse with clean water. But yes, baths are very luxurious and a nice warm bubble bath is a great way to relax! I often take Molly (my laptop) into the bathroom with me and put a show or some music on for something to do whilst sitting in the tub. (I don't read magazines really and I'm too scared of dropping books into the water!) But I had an amazing Lush bath on Friday night using the bubble bar 'The Comforter'.
I used about a quater of this huge bar, but at just under £4, this is quite expensive still. Luckily, I only take a bath about every 2 months. I will be taking advantage of having a bath while I am home, though!Lush's description: A warming, fruity, fluffy bath to bring you comfort. When the world seems too scary and your problems seem insurmountable, that's when you need The Comforter's warm, blackcurrant embrace. Take a long, soothing bath, have a good night's sleep, and when the day dawns, things won't seem quite so bad. Promise. (click here to go to Lush's site!)
For me, the best scents are the sweet ones. I did manage to get a couple of Lush's Christmas edition bubble bars for my housemate, and they do smell divine. But I don't think the Christmassy herbs and spices are something I want my bath to smell like.
What's your favourite bubble bath item??
Love love and Sundaylove!

ReplyDeleteI too used to take water baths, simply because I didn't know about bath ballistics etc. I haven't had a proper relaxing bath in about a year I think.. I am VERY much a shower person!
