I have been lusting after this Essie polish for a really long time (since last year) so when I saw it on Buyapowa with two other colours, I snapped it up!
Essie Haute As Hello is a pastel peach semi-sheer polish.
I have two coats on in the picture above, but I think three would've been the best to get sufficient opacity. It also had a slightly matte-feel finish but I'm not sure if that's because I applied it on top of two coats of OPI Matte Nail Envy...
I adore this shade but I felt my nails were a bit too plain.
(I get bored of my nails too easily these days.)
Using a white striper nail art polish, I drew two diagonal lines across the nail tips to make the angular French manicure.
Then I filled in the tips using a French manicure pen. I needed some form of glitter, so using a silver glitter striper polish, I added the angular 'smile' lines.
Then, with a dotting tool, I used Haute As Hello for a little tip decoration. Then I sealed my design with a couple coats of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.
What do you think of this alternate, angular French manicure?
Have you got Essie Haute As Hello??
Love love and hautelove!!
