Spring Cherry Blossoms NOTD

Spring brings about the cherry blossoms on the trees so I thought I'd put them on my nails too :)

And I've got a step-by-step guide that you can follow:

Step 1: Base Colour

Always start by applying a base coat (I normally go for a treatment like the original OPI Nail Envy) to protect the nails and prime them ready for colour.

To get an opaque, even colour I used two coats of Impala (a very affordable Brazillian brand) in le rose. Click here for pictures of it on shorter, rounded nails.

Step 2: Draw the trees

For this step, I used the striper brush end of my Inglot Nail Art Enamel in 36 Black to draw the tree branches.

Step 3: Add the little blossoms

Using a dotting tool, I randomly placed little dots on the nails in two shades of pink - OPI Shorts Story & OPI Dim Sum Plum.

Step 4: Glitterrrrr <3

Glitter is a winner. Subtle glitter just adds a touch of sparkle and makes it look even more luxurious! I used touches of to match.

Step 5: Protect your handiwork with a clear top coat

I am loving Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat at the moment and think this is a great one for nail art :)

Beautiful. Hope you like it!

Love love and cherryblossomlove!!
