Sponged Yellow French Manicure NOTD

I wanted to use yellow on my nails as it's been really sunny lately and I thought an elegant French manicure would look great. 

So I sponged on some Topshop Nails in Bee's Knees onto the tips of my nails over a double layered base of Deborah Lippman Prelude to a Kiss.

Then, to add a touch more sparkle, I added a couple coats of GOSH Magic just on the tips where the yellow polish is. 

I sponged the tips a little further towards the centre of the nail than I would have if I just did a normal french tip - I think this has made my nails look like gel nails, which I quite like!

What do you think of yellow on the nails??
